I am traveling to Disney in March. We are staying at the Disney Paradise Pier Hotel . Our kids are 4 and 2. We were not planning to rent a car. Is there any forms of transportation we could use without having to rent a car? Shuttles?

    Hiya Kasey!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you brought your vacation planning question to us here at the panel.

I am so excited that you will be staying at the Disneyland Resort! Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel has that California beachy feel that will have you saying surf’s up! Don’t forget that included with your stay is access to Extra Magic Hour for everyday of your stay. You’ll be able to enter either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park one hour before the general public and start enjoying select attractions. Check the schedule to see which of the two parks opens early for hotel guests on the days you plan to stay. I might recommend riding Peter Pan’s Flight during Extra Magic Hour as there are no Disney FASTPASS selections for this ride and it is quite popular. Your little ones are sure to love it!

Unlike Walt Disney World, everything at the Disneyland Resort is within walking distance. You can walk from Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel to the parks in about 10 minutes. There’s even a Disneyland Monorail stop in the middle of the walk that would take you directly into Tomorrowland inside Disneyland Park. It’s very convenient. Your four and two year old are sure to love Donald Duck's Seaside Breakfast or Brunch at Disney’s PCH Grill inside Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. If your kids love characters as much as I do, they’re sure to have a surfing good time!

Well Kasey, I hope you and your family have the best vacation ever and if you have any more questions, come back and let us know.

Remember, always believe in the magic!
