    We are traveling on the Disney Magic from Galveston. Our family was wondering what type of passport would be needed? Would we need the book or the card?

    A voyage aboard the enchanting Disney Magic from the shimmering Gulf Coast? That sounds absolutely magical!

    When it comes to travel documents, the requirements depend on a few factors. If everyone in your party is a U.S. citizen, you have a couple of options. A valid original passport, passport card, or Trusted Traveler Card is acceptable. An original state-issued birth certificate plus a government-issued photo ID is also acceptable. Other documentation may be required depending on individual circumstances, so be sure to check out the Passports, Visas & Citizenship Documentation page on the Disney Cruise Line website for all the details.

    Fun Fact: Did you know that Progreso, Mexico, is home to the longest pier in the world? It stretches an incredible four miles into the Gulf!
