We are traveling to Disney late Feb '08 with our 2 girls - 6 & 9. We would like to eat dinner in Epcot and reserve the time to get us in place for the lazer light show the same night. Two questions, place to eat? and time?? Thanks - this is great!

I would eat your dinner at your usual dining time. This has always helped our son avoid getting too cranky. We enjoy dining at the San Angel Inn in the Mexico Pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. Dinner often begins at 4:30 p.m. No matter what time you reserve, arrive early and request a waterside table. After dinner, take the Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride.

Before or after dinner, continue your tour around World Showcase seeking out Princess characters for autographs, or stopping at KidCot stations to learn about the different cultures.

As you stroll around the lagoon, you will notice people starting to sit for Illuminations 30-60 minutes in advance of the 9 p.m. show. Popular places such as the bridge between France and the United Kingdom will fill up quickly. Find a place, relax and plan your next day’s activities.

I hope you enjoy a magical evening!
