I am traveling to disney the last week of October would you recommend staying all 6 nights at Carribean Beach resort or split it up at Allstar Sports adn CB.. i am traveling with a 3 and 5 yr old.. If Carribean beach which area do you recommend. Thanks

    Hi Jacqueline,

I'm currently at Walt Disney World and glad to help you with your decision!

Whether you choose to stay at Caribbean Beach Resort all week or split your stay with the All-Star Sports will depend on a few things.

1 - is saving money on your room more important than convenience? If so, then a split stay would be best for your family.

2 - are you getting the Disney Dining Plan? If so, it may be more cost-effective to stay in one place.

3 - Is convenience and resort amenities more important than price? If so, then Caribbean Beach Resort is for you! First, you won't have to pack up mid-trip which is a bit tiresome when traveling with young kids. My family loves to "resort hop" on nearly every vacation at WDW but it's become so much easier now that our son is 11.

If you are looking for resort amenities, you'll love the Caribbean Beach resort. The pool area is wonderful for young kids as there is a zero-entry depth wading area into the main pool plus a pirate ship water play area as well. My son loved it when he was younger!

There's also sandy beaches with playgrounds just in case the kids have any extra energy. The food court serves kid meals in sand pails. So cool!

For Caribbean Beach, I recommend staying in Jamaica!

    Have a fabulous vacation!
