We will be traveling to Disney with our 3 kids in Nov 2017. Our oldest has special needs and a service dog. During the parade is there a special area for people with disabilities to sit?

Hi Tera! I am sure your entire family is starting their countdown to the wonderful Walt Disney World vacation coming up in November.

The Magic Kingdom does offer several locations for those with disabilities to view the parades. This is on a first come basis so you will need to arrive early to secure a spot. You are not able to reserve these locations in advance. You are also allowed up to six persons in your group but if it is really crowded they might ask if you can split up to allow other guests with disabilities to use the spot. The three locations for parade viewing are: center section in front of the castle, center section in front of the Main Street Train Station, and next to the Liberty Tree.

You can look through all of the information about disabilities in the Magic Kingdom HERE. It is a great comprehensive map and latest directions on how to get the most out of your visit to the park. It will also share important information about service animals.

If you plan on visiting the other parks you can check out their maps as well....EPCOTHollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. These are great maps of each park for our guests with disabilities and will assist you with a service animal as well.
