Hello, Susan, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I have brought my baby to Walt Disney World Resort since she was only a few months old and we’re not showing any signs of slowing down! Both she and my son (when we was little, all those years ago) slept in the Pack N Plays and sturdy cribs provided by the resorts.
All Resorts on Walt Disney World property actually offer
complimentary bed rails, cribs and Pack N Plays upon guest request. I’ve seen many, many bed rails in rooms before and upon checkout one day, saw a Cast Member toting five at once from various rooms to clean them up for later use. If you’d like to reserve an infant sleeping area, all you have to do is get your reservation number and have it handy when you call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936. A Cast Member can notate your request on your reservation, and though it isn’t ever 100% guaranteed, I’ve never been without a crib or Pack N Play in the nearly 40 times I’ve visited the Resort.
I often rent a stroller from
Kingdom Strollers, a Disney authorized rental agency, which comes with a cooler and rain cover, and I never regret the purchase. It’s always waiting for me, completely serviced and set up at Bell Services. I have heard of folks renting other items from places such as Care Medical (medical sleeping arrangements) or A Baby’s Best Friend (cribs), but personally, I would rather request the clean linens and bed supplied by Disney Housekeeping at no fee.
If there is anything else I can help you with for your vacation preparation, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Have a magical trip! ~ Lindsey P.
