Traveling to Disney in Jan, my son will be 2 years and 10 months. I understand he does not need a park ticket, I want to confirm he will not require Disney Genie+ as my husband and I plan to purchase them and it showed my son as "not eligible"

    Welcome to planDisney, Brenda!

Thank you for stopping by and giving us the chance to be part of your Disney vacation planning adventure. We cannot wait for you to enjoy all the magic that awaits for you at the Walt Disney World Resort!

There is so much for little ones to see and to at The Most Magical Place on Earth, so get ready to make pixie-dusted memories with your son. Since he is not 3 yet, he is Mickey’s Guest of honor and does not need theme park tickets, theme park reservations, Disney Genie+, or Lightning Lane entry.

He will be able to accompany you as you enjoy attractions, as long as he meets the height requirements. That means you do not have to include him in your party while purchasing Disney Genie+ or making Disney Genie+ selections. Remember,
however, that children under 3 must be included while making dining or Disney Resort hotel reservations. If your son is too short to ride an attraction, talk to Cast Members to find out if Rider Switch service is available for that attraction.

planDisney tip: As you plan your visit with your Mouseketeer, take time to learn more about the Baby Care Centers located at all four theme parks. They are the perfect place if you need a break, a diaper change, or a snack.

I hope this information is helpful, Brenda. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, we are delighted to help!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
