Welcome back to planDisney, Lauren!
The
Disneyland app is certainly the best tool for navigating the parks efficiently. There is WiFi at the Disneyland Resort, but it can sometimes be spotty or unreliable. If possible, I would strongly suggest looking into some sort of travel plan with your cell phone provider to see if you can get service while you are here.
If getting phone service proves too difficult or expensive, it is still possible to enjoy the parks without the app. Be sure to print out your theme park ticket vouchers or QR codes. You will scan those at the park gates and be given a physical ticket that you can use for the remainder of your trip. For attractions, simply choose what you want to ride and be prepared to wait in the standby queue. There are attraction wait time boards located in both parks that you can peruse as well. Finally, you'll want to make
advanced dining reservations for any table service meals that you want to enjoy. But for quick service, you'll have to wait in physical lines which could be long because several pick-up windows are now dedicated to mobile order.
I hope this helps. Have a magical day!
