I will be traveling to disney with my grandson who is 2 1/2. Will he be able to go on most of the rides that do not require a height requirement.

    Hi Diane -

Two is such a great age to go to Disney!  You will really be creating some precious memories with your grandson.  Everything is so magical at that age, and so realistic.

Your grandson will be allowed to go on every attraction that does not have a height requirement.  However, he may not want to go on them.  Some attractions have dark, loud moments that can be frightening for small children.  Some of the more intense rides, like It's Tough to Be a Bug in the Animal Kingdom, will post warnings outside of the attraction.  You know your grandson best, and it will be left up to you to decide what he can or cannot handle.

    Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
