We will be traveling in Disney with grandparents on 9/11 - Grandparents Day. Is there anything special occurring in the parks, or anything commemorating the day? thanks

    Hi Amy!
Every day is Grandparents Day isn't it??...especially when travelling to Walt Disney World with their grandchildren. Although the parks do not do anything specifically for Grandparents, be sure to have them grab a special "I'm  Celebrating" button or "First Visit" button (if it's their first time) from Guest Services in City Hall at Magic Kingdom or at the resort when you are checking in. They can then wear the buttons proudly as they scamper the parks with the little ones.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical vacation!! :)
