Hi! We are traveling to Disney for the first time next spring with our 4 year old and 2 year old. We want to stay on-site at a resort with the transportation that will take us to and from the parks fastest! Where are the best places to stay? Thanks!

Hi Katey - in my opinion, the most convenient resort on property at Walt Disney World is the Polynesian.  Not only are you on the monorail, you are also right near the Ticket and Transportation Center.  Buses to the other parks that leave from the Ticket and Transportation Center tend to run frequently and are less crowded.

If you don't want a resort on the monorail, my next suggestion would be the Epcot area resorts - the Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Boardwalk.  From there, you can walk to the World Showcase in Epcot, and take a convenient boat to Hollywood Studios (you can also walk if you don't mind a longer walk).

All of the Walt Disney World resorts do offer transportation, so if those aren't in your budget, a moderate or value resort will also provide bus transportation for you to get to the parks.

    Have a great vacation!
