Hi! I am traveling to Disney in a few weeks with a 3 m/o husband and extended family. We have been to Disney many many times but this will be our first with an infant. I am having trouble narrowing down what we MUST bring and DO. help!

Hi Kristen!  I have traveled to Walt Disney World with a three month year old in the past and it went smoothly because of some pre planning.

I strongly suggest you ship as much as you can ahead of time to your resort. Address the box with the resort name and ATTN: with the name of the person the reservation is under. Add to that the ARRIVAL DATE and then the address of the resort.  Try to schedule the delivery within about five days of your arrival and let them know when you check in that there should be a box waiting for you. They will have the bell staff deliver it to your room.

Keep your items that you pack to a minimum. Pull everything you need and then go through it one more time and leave out what isn't necessary. Remember that there are baby centers in each park that offer some supplies for purchase as well as resort stores if something happens during your trip.

A good stroller with a cover and one that can collapse flat is important for a three month old. A cooler bag is also important to keep certain things as cool as possible before you need them. If it is very hot then please don't try to carry things that are perishable as that would be dangerous.

Remember to stroll and not rush and keep the child away from loud noises if that affects him or her. And bring sun protection even on a cloudy day and hats are a must. You will have a great time and you will return home with some amazing memories of their first trip to Walt Disney World!
