I am traveling to Disney Feb 11-12 with a 7, 4 and 2 year old. We are planning on 1 day in magic kingdom& one day with a park hopper pass. What do you suggest we do? Which fast pass rides should we sign up for? Also..Parades and shows? TIA!

    Hi Christie,

Having a plan with young children is a really good idea, and will help your time at Walt Disney World to go smoothly. Considering the ages of your children, I like your plan of spending one day in Magic Kingdom Park. To determine which theme park, or theme parks, you would like to visit on the second day, I suggest that you order the Walt Disney World Planning DVD. This DVD is available for free, and includes information on attractions, theme parks, resorts, and so much more! By watching this, and possibly having your older children watch it with you, you will start to see the attractions that appeal the most to your family and thus which theme parks you might want to visit. For example, if you have a family who is very interested in animals, you may find that spending the whole second day at Disney's Animal Kingdom is a good idea for you. If your family enjoys tasting cuisine from around the world, perhaps you should head to Epcot for that day.

As to which attractions to use your Disney FastPass+ selections for, I suggest that you use those for the attractions that build the longest lines. The good news is that you are visiting at a time of year that should have lower crowd levels, so even the longest lines should not be too bad. At Magic Kingdom Park, consider using Disney FastPass+  selections for popular attractions such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan's Flight, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Also, if you wish to meet Anna and Elsa, I would suggest using a Disney FastPass+ selection for that. I am a fan of using Disney FastPass+ selections for parades. If you wish to see a parade, using a Disney FastPass+ selection allows you to show up much later for a good spot to see the parade.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful to you, Christie! Let us know if you have any further questions.
