I will be traveling to Disney from Feb 12-17th 2011. and was wondering what the crowds might be like considering it is the week prior to Presidents Day. I noticed the rates jump considerably the day I check out so I am hoping that means it will be quiet.

    Hi Glenn!
Couldn't pass up a question from a fellow MA Dad.
It looks like you are the beneficiary of good timing for this upcoming trip. As you probably already know, Massachusetts' February school vacation week is from 2/21 through 2/25 (not including the weekends), so you will have already boarded your plane for home before the hordes come South. Additionally, a good part of the country does not have school breaks in Feb. AND April, but sometimes only March. Again, you win!!
I have been to Walt Disney World in early February and the crowds are typically some of the smallest of the year. This is more than likely still true. Noticing the rate differences like you did should also be a good indicator that crowds will pick up AFTER your departure.
    I wish you a Magical trip!! :)
