Hi Grace,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. A Walt Disney World vacation with the whole family is so much fun, but it is also fun to have some time alone as adults, and for the children to have some time with other children as well!
I have great news for you. Walt Disney World offers
Children's Activity Centers at four locations - Simba's Cubhouse at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Sandcastle Club at Disney's Beach Club Resort, Lilo's Playhouse at Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Club Dolphin at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. My daughter has spent many evenings at the Children's Activity Centers while my husband and I enjoyed an adult night out. She always had a great time! The Children's Activity Centers are staffed by great cast members, and include activities such as arts and crafts, games, movies, and so much more! Children also are able to eat dinner at the Children's Activity Centers. You can call (407) 939-3463 to make reservations at Simba's Cubhouse, the Sandcastle Club, and Lilo's Playhouse. For Club Dolphin, call (407) 934-4241. You do not need to be staying at the resort in order to take advantage of the Children's Activity Center.
Another
childcare service if you prefer is in-room babysitting. Kids Nite Out is a provider who can send a babysitter to your resort hotel room. You can visit their website at kidsniteout.com for more information, or you can call them at 1-800-696-8105. Our daughter has also had babysitters from Kids Nite Out and always enjoyed her time with them.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Grace! Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
