We are traveling to Disney during Epcot's food and wine festival this year. Is it appropriate to bring our children or are the activities offered more for adults? Our children will be 8 and 13. Thank you.

    Hi Colleen,

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival has been a family favorite for years. When my kids were younger, to say they were picky eaters was an understatement. I credit the Food and Wine Festival with expanding my kids' palates. I could not convince my children to try many new foods, but for some reason they became adventurous eaters at the Food and Wine Festival. I highly recommend the festival as a family event.

There are some seminars and tastings that are more appropriate for adults, but there are plenty of new delights for your children to sample. Some people speculate that weekend nights become more of an adult, "party" atmosphere, but we haven't had those issues. We don't tend to visit on weekends simply because the crowds are heavier during the weekends!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let us know if we can help you with any other questions!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
