Will be traveling on the Disney Dream 4 night cruise in April. Can you please tell me what dress code for men is at night? I have heard that men can wear dress shorts and shoes in the dining room. Also heard that there is no formal night.

    Hi Michele,

I just returned from the Christening Cruise on the Disney Dream last month!  It is a truly amazing addition to the fleet of Disney cruise ships.  You're going to have a ball in April!

As for the dress code for gentlemen while dining on a Disney cruise ship, here's what their official website has to say:

    On 4-night cruises:

    • First night: cruise casual—no shorts, swimwear or tank tops
    • One pirate or tropical night (deck party)
    • One "dress-up night"—jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women
    • Final night: cruise casual—no shorts, swimwear or tank tops
If the men in your family wish to dine in shorts or other casual clothes, I would recommend a lovely dinner in Cabanas.  This is the buffet restaurant with a gorgeous view on deck 11 of the Disney Dream.  By contrast, if you wish to dine in either of the Dream's formal restaurants, Remy or Palo, gentlemen must wear coats and ties.

I'm so excited for you to experience all the Disney Dream has to offer.  It is a truly spectacular cruising experience.

    Bon voyage!
