Hi there, Jordan! Welcome to planDisney.
I’m so excited for you to step aboard the Disney Dream and experience
everything a Disney Cruise Line vacation has to offer. The onboard entertainment is nothing short of spectacular for the young and young at heart. From Broadway-style shows to themed deck parties, every moment will surely bring a smile to your face.
Now, let's talk about another highlight awaiting you on the Disney Dream – the culinary delights! You’ll eat at
one of three different restaurants each night of your cruise. I think my favorite is
Animator's Palate. As you enjoy your meal, watch in awe as Crush comes surfing by for a chat. I always start my meal with the Baked Potato and Cheddar Cheese Soup. It’s delicious!
While your dining room servers will be dressed to impress each night, you’re free to dress a bit more comfortably. Most nights, the suggested attire is
"cruise casual.” Wednesday is an optional dress-up night, and Friday is
Pirate Night. Guests are encouraged to embrace their inner buccaneer by wearing pirate-y apparel. You can practice your hearty “Arrgghhs” and "Yo-Hos” as you enjoy pirate-themed activities. My family likes the pirate crafts. As the sun sets, head to the upper decks to party like a swashbuckler, complete with fireworks lighting up the starlit sky. It's a night of high-seas fun you won't want to miss!
The suggested dining attire and the themed nights can be found on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship. You can mark an activity as a favorite by selecting the heart icon; about 15 minutes beforehand, you’ll get a reminder that the fun is about to begin.
I hope you have a fantastic Valentine’s Day sailing with my favorite sweethearts, Captains Mickey and Minnie. Bon voyage, and may your journey be sprinkled with pixie dust and love!
SEAS the adventure!
