Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sylvona! The Disney Dining Plan is the best way to leave worry, concern and your hefty wallet back in your room. It’s tasty goodness and fun times for your family!
You may want to check your booking. If your
Disney Dining Plan was booked with a travel agent, they may have missed your daughter’s birthday. Typically, the age a child is at check-in, (your daughter will already be 10, for example), is the age they remain on paper for the entire trip. Since your daughter will be 10, she is viewed as an adult in the eyes of a Disney Dining Plan. If she were to have her 10th birthday in the middle of the trip, she would still be nine years old for booking and dining plan purposes. I’ve had to use this “check-in age rule” for my daughter before, as she approached a birthday. You may want to check either with
Disney Cast Members or with your travel agent if that is how you booked, because I don’t believe it will automatically update.
If you have more questions about your upcoming vacation, (and please, do return!) let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
