Hi John!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you so much for reaching out to me! One of the best things about Walt Disney World Resort is that it was built with families in mind, so yours will find a whole host of options for your one perfect Disney Day.
Since you’ll have a whole cruise of wonderful sit-down meals, I would recommend getting a bite to eat at
Quick-Service locations. And since you’re on vacation I see no problems in getting loaded tater tots at The Friar’s Nook, a waffle sandwich from Sleepy Hollow, corn dog nuggets from Casey’s Corner or a dole whip float from Aloha Isle and calling it lunch.
Some attractions can command lengthy stand-by wait times, so I would definitely use your
FastPass+ selections on any of the following: Big Thunder Mountain, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pans Flight, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, or at Mickey Mouse’s meet and greet.
Disney also offers their
Rider Switch Service on 7 attractions in Magic Kingdom Park. Here, Parent A (and possibly child 1) can enjoy an attraction while Parent B waits behind with anyone who is unable or uninterested in riding. Then the two parents switch places. Best of all, the pass is valid for up to three guests, so child 1 could re-ride with parent B.
I know you’re all looking forward to your Disney vacations, and if you have any questions about your cruise please reach out to my fellow panelist (and fellow Texan!)
Stephanie L. We’ll See You Real Soon, John!
