I will be traveling to Disney with adult children and grandchildren... ages 6, 5 ,2 &3 What do you think of the Hoop Dee Doo Review for the 2 & 3 year olds? Is it too much for little ones?

    Hi Rae,

Thanks for writing.  The Hoop Dee Doo Revue is a country-western variety show that is a wonderful way to end a perfect Disney day.  However, it is filled with musical numbers and slapstick comedy that might be lost on very young children.  While your youngest grandchildren will probably enjoy the music, food and company, I would suggest Mickey's Backyard BBQ as an alternative dinner show.  During this show, Mickey, Minnie and several of their Disney pals join guests on a dance floor along with a country-western band for a fun-filled evening that all ages can enjoy.  I started taking my boys when they were about your grandchildren's ages, and they had an absolute blast, "cutting a rug" beside Mickey and his pals.  Both shows are great options, however, I would vote for the BBQ if you are planning on bringing your littlest family members.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
