Hiya Robyn!
Welcome to planDisney; I’m so happy to see you here.
I love that you’re taking a little one to The Most Magical Place on Earth with you! When I took my baby Mouseketeers to Walt Disney World Resort, we loved visiting the
Baby Care Centers! There’s one in every theme park, and they provide large changing tables, tiny toilets for little ones in training; even a plethora of items on sale if you’re running low on anything for the baby. I especially loved the rocking chairs where we could sit in comfort and have a moment of peace before entering the hustle and bustle of the world again!
As you know, the
Disability Access Service (DAS) enables Guests who cannot stand in a traditional queue to return to the attraction later. With the
Rider Switch Service, Adult 1 waits with the Mouseketeer who cannot/does not want to ride the attraction while the others ride. Once the others return, Adult 1 gets to go through the Lightning Lane queue, so the entire party does not wait twice as long for the attraction.
Robyn, after
speaking to a Cast Members at the Disability Services line, they transferred me to speak to a Cast Member at Guest Services at EPCOT to make sure I got you the correct answer. I was told that you could use your Rider Switch service when using the DAS return time selection as long as the person with the disability is riding both times. So please be sure to let the Cast Member attending the attraction queue know about the Rider Switch service and that the person with the disability will be riding both times, once during the return time for DAS and second during the second ride with the Rider Switch.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Robyn! Have an enchanting visit!
Aena
