We will be traveling 4 days with or 2 1/2 yr old and 1 yr old. We’re coming December and We’re going with a big family group. since my kids are so little, i was wondering what would be the best places to visit. What kind of activities would you recommend

    Hi there, Brittany!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so glad you stopped by with your question about your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!  You are going to have the best time and make some very special memories with your Mouseketeers!

My littles were about the same age as yours when we took our first trip to Walt Disney World Resort and it was such a sweet and memorable vacation.  While they don’t remember it (at all), I most definitely do and those are memories I will treasure forever.  Experiencing Disney magic alongside littles is so very special and seeing their eyes light up when they see things for the first time is just incredible!  While I know you will want to do it all, my biggest recommendation would be to really enjoy it all and take things as they come!  Read through the Preschool Parents Planning Guide before your vacation for tips to make the most of your vacation with your little ones, but really just step back and enjoy!

If you are debating between which theme parks to visit, I highly recommend making a point to visit Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom as you will find a variety of things for them to do at those two theme parks!  Prince Charming Regal Carrousel is always a favorite as is Dumbo the Flying Elephant and a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. during the holidays is always magical!   At Disney’s Animal Kingdom we always enjoy the indoor "Festival of the Lion King" show where the littles were mesmerized, and my husband and I welcomed the chance to rest our legs.  The safari-themed breakfast at Tusker House in Disney’s Animal Kingdom was always a favorite of my littles where they got to see their favorite characters all decked out in their safari gear so if you can grab an advanced dining reservation there, I would also recommend that!

All in all, this will be a magical and oh, so memorable vacation for you!  I hope this information helps guide you in preparing for your vacation, but please come back with any other questions you may have!
