I am traveling with my daughter's family in February. We've narrowed it down to two very different resorts - Animal Kingdom Lodge & Art of Animation. My daughter's thinking is that they could get a suite at Art of Animation. Any help w/be appreciate

    Hi Monica,

You are considering two different, but both amazing, resorts.  I absolutely love Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The decor is rich and gorgeous, and the ability to see animals out of nearly every window is fabulous.  There are so many activities offered here every day, from activities designed to teach about African culture to educational and fun experiences about the animals.  Disney's Art of Animation Resort is full of whimsical fun.  Being there truly makes you feel like you are inside of a Disney animated feature.

Both of these resorts have amazing pool areas.  From each you will need to take a bus to get to any Walt Disney World theme park.  One deciding factor might be how many people will be on your trip with you.  Up to four guests can stay in a room at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort can sleep up to six guests, so if you have five or six guests, this would be the way to go.  The family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort also offer two separate sleeping areas, which might be nice since you are traveling with extended family.  You will find more dining options at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  While Disney's Art of Animation Resort has the Landscape of Flavors for quick service dining, there is no table service dining option at this resort.  Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge offers The Mara for quick service dining, but also has Boma, Jiko, and Sanaa, all of which are amazing table service dining restaurants.

This is a really tough decision, Monica!  I hope that the thoughts above help you to make it.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
