So we will be traveling with my daughter and her grandparents, can we do ride swap where the grandparents stay with her while my husband and I ride and then switch so they can also ride together?

    Hi Cassandra!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with such a great question!

One of the reasons that my family has visited the Walt Disney World Resort time and again is because they have thought of so many things to make vacationing with Little Ones easy! Did you know that there are over 80 attractions and entertainment options that do not have a height requirement? When my daughters were young, they loved attractions such as ‘it’s a small world,” The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. Now at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Na’vi River Journey is a new favorite attraction that Guests of any height can experience.

Rider Switch Service allows Guests to take turns waiting with Little Ones or Guests who are unable or unwilling to ride. At participating attractions, the grandparents will be able to stay with your daughter while you and your husband enjoy the ride, and then you will swap. To use Rider Switch, your entire party will approach the Cast Member greeting guests and ask to take advantage of Rider switch. The Guests that are waiting with your daughter will be issued a Rider Switch entitlement and will be asked to wait outside of the attraction. This group is “Party 2.” The other member(s) of your party will ride the attraction. This group is “Party 1.” After riding the attraction, Party 1 will find Party 2 and will swap who is supervising your daughter. Party 2 will then enter the attraction, usually through the FastPass+ queue, and will not have to wait in the regular queue a second time. The Rider Switch entitlement will be validated at this time.

I hope that you and your family create many magical memories!
