Hi Robyn, welcome to the magical world of planDisney! What an exciting experience for your dancers to have an experience attending an
Imagination Campus workshop and then having a performance opportunity at Disney Springs! As a dance mom myself, I know how magical it is to see your young performer take that stage! While I know your dancer will make a splash on stage, let's also dive into your question about pool use at
Disney Resort Hotels!
Disney Resort Hotel guests are only allowed access to the pools and amenities at the resort where they are registered, so pool hopping is not allowed on property. Having your group at two different resorts, you are allowed to visit the grounds (and each other!) or dine together at either resort. And the great thing about your chosen resorts is that
Disney's Pop Century Resort and
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are easily connected to one another via the
Disney Skyliner, so a short flight over Hourglass Lake will quickly transport you to join the rest of your group!
Another option to enjoy some pool time together as a large group would be to visit one of
Disney's Waterparks - Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Be sure to check online to see which of these options will be available when you visit, as they do sometimes rotate. Having visited Blizzard Beach myself with a large group, we usually get there early to secure a campsite area before enjoying a day on the waterslides! It gives us a home base to take breaks, meet back up, and store our things. Don't miss
Teamboat Springs if you make it to Blizzard Beach - a raft adventure for up to 6 riders, it's always a hit when traveling with a group!
Robyn, I hope this has been helpful and I hope you and your dance studio friends create many magical memories together on your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Come back to
planDisney anytime with questions as you continue to plan - we are always happy to hear from you!
Magic awaits,
Alison
