Hello! We are traveling from CT in august and my 4 year old has never been to Disney so we would like to give her a fun experience- I also have a 16 year old that loves Hollywood studios. How do we get in touch with a Disney planner?

    Hi Traci!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I'm so excited to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your family. August will be here before you know it, and you have magical plans to make - especially with a sweet 4 year old visiting for the first time! Guests have several routes to take when planning a Disney vacation, and I'm happy to share my recommendations.

Some Guests, particularly those who have several prior visits under their belt, prefer to design their own Disney vacation using the Walt Disney World Resort website. There is a Chat feature available that can connect you to a Cast Member that can help answer questions along the way. (Note: the Chat feature is not an option at all hours of the day, but I've had the Chat option pop up numerous times lately as I've navigated the website.)

You also have the option to call Walt Disney World directly at (407) 939-5277 for assistance with resort/package booking and tickets. While the phone lines do have amazing Disney "hold" music, call volume is very high right now and callers are experiencing longer than usual wait times. If you want to go this route, make sure to set aside plenty of time for the phone call.

Another option (and my recommendation) is to find an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner in your area. A Disney vacation specialist can help you choose the perfect Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your family, purchase Theme Park Tickets, secure Disney Park Pass reservations, make Advance Dining Reservations, and more. Another benefit of using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is that they will monitor your reservation for any discounts or offers that can be applied to save you money - even after you've already booked your trip! The very best part is that their expertise comes at no extra cost to you than if you were to book your Disney vacation yourself. An easy way to find an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner in your area is with a Google search, or simply ask friends to recommend someone that helped plan their Disney vacation. The "Authorized" part of the job title is very important, as travel planners with that distinction have been specifically trained and certified by Disney to best be able to help Guests.

Here at planDisney, we are a group of Disney-loving Guests that have been on numerous Disney vacations (Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line), and would love to share our knowledge and experience to help add a little extra magic to your Disney trip. Please come back and visit us here with any questions as you begin planning your fall vacation, and check us out @planDisney on Instagram for our latest tips and advice. We're happy to help!
