Hi. We will be traveling Concierge on the Disney Dream next February. Is there a reserved area for Concierge guests to watch fireworks? Our room is not on the starboard side since Deck 11 has the spa on that side. Thank you!

Ahoy Jennifer - welcome to planDisney!

Concierge Level Staterooms are a great way to add extra magic to any Disney Cruise Line sailing - great choice, Jennifer! I recently sailed Concierge on the brand-new Disney Wish and it was an amazing experience. Get ready to make some magical memories!

Your Concierge Hosts are available to assist in making every aspect of your vacation incredible. On many sailings, there is a reserved area for Concierge Guests to view fireworks, but you'll need to speak to the Concierge Hosts on your specific sailing to learn more about the plans they've made for you.

It's also good to keep in mind that the location might not be the best place for your crew's specific needs. For example, the locations are typically more isolated (hence "private") which means you'll be further away from the action that might be taking place down below on the stage. I'm definitely not suggesting that this wouldn't be a great perk of being a Concierge Guest - I just think it's important to think about the kind of experience your crew wants to have. It might be the private viewing area, if available, but your Concierge Host might be able to help you find a different solution that's an even better fit for your crew! For example, some of our friends' little ones love to be down in the middle of the action for fireworks and might be disappointed by a quieter viewing area.

Long story short, get to know your Concierge Hosts and never hesitate to ask them for advice or assistance. They are some of the most knowledgeable people on the ship!

I hope this information is helpful as you prepare for your upcoming sailing - swim on by with more questions any time!
