I will be traveling with 3 children, ages 10, 1, and 4 months. Do the babies get charged for the meal plan even though they do not eat those meals?

    Hi, Jennifer!

Your littlest Mouseketeers (your 1 year old and 4 month old) do not need park tickets and will not get charged for the Disney Dining Plan if you purchase the plan with your vacation package.  Your 1 year old is welcome to share off an adult's plate, or you may order a child's meal out of pocket if you choose.

Your 10 year old will be considered an adult at meals and for park tickets, so you will need to factor that cost in when planning your travel budget.  (Children ages 3 - 9 pay the child rate.)  I hope this information helps!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
