I am traveling with a child still in a car seat. I am going to bag check his car seat at the airport. Will the Disney's Magical Express collect this and deliver to my room with the res of my luggage?

Hello Jessica, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question. You must be so excited for your magical vacation coming up in a few weeks!

Disney’s Magical Express® is my favorite way to arrive in style at my Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. If you are checking your car seat, along with your other luggage at your point of departure, Disney’s Magical Express will pick it up with the rest of your luggage. Just remember to tag your bags with your special yellow luggage tag prior to checking them in with your airline. Don’t worry if you have more luggage than the number of yellow tags you received, just let the Cast Member know when you check-in at Disney’s Magical Express Welcome Center and they will use your bag claim tickets to pick up your additional items.

However, if your airline requires your child to travel in a car seat during the flight, you will not be able to gate check it, when you arrive at Orlando International Airport. You will need to bring it with you when you to the motorcoach. The driver can assist you with loading it on the bus since there are no seatbelts available to secure it during the ride to your Resort Hotel. If you plan to head to a theme park or Disney Springs immediately upon arrival, Bell Services can assist you with delivering your car seat to your room. Have a wonderful time on your trip.

    See ya real soon,
