Welcome to planDisney Jeissa!
A road trip to Walt Disney World will be a great family adventure! Pack up the family, some snacks, your Mickey Mouse ears and off you go!
I don't know what you consider "early" but early check-in at Walt Disney World Resort hotels starts at 7am. This is when many resort restaurants will open and you can begin booking virtual queues and
Genie+ selections (remember to have your
Theme Park Tickets purchased and
Theme Park Reservations secured ahead of time!) This does not mean your room will be ready, but you can certainly get your day started. When doing your online check-in, it will ask for your arrival time, but normal check-in time is 3-4pm depending on your resort. Plan ahead with any day bags for swim suits, medication, or extra clothes.
Once your car is parked, I would stop by the front desk to let them know you have arrived. If you completed online check-in, a text will be sent when your room is ready so you will know when to pop back to your resort to settle in. Bell Services will be happy to store your luggage, then you can head out to the theme parks, or whatever your plans might be!
With driving all night and starting early, your crew will need a mid-day break. Even if your room is not ready, you are welcome to lounge by your resort pool so plan ahead for break time. Once your room is available, take a quick rest so you can head out for a night of fun. EPCOT is a great place to be at night with
Harmonious on World Showcase Lagoon. Magic Kingdom is also a wonderful option with
Disney Enchantment lighting up the sky!
Wishing you a safe journey to Walt Disney World!
