We are traveling from Canada. We have purchased tickets that need to pick up at will call. We are staying off site so we don’t have magic bands. If we buy magic bands when we arrive and link them to our tickets do we still have to go to will call? Thanks

    Hi Kim,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I assume that you’ve purchased your party’s Theme Park Tickets with the Canadian Resident Special Offer and so that’s why you need to pick them up at “Will Call” (or Guest Relations) before you enter your first Theme Park. If that’s the case, then even if you purchase and link a MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account after arriving in the United States, you’ll still need to stop at either Will Call or Guest Relations in order to activate your tickets by showing proof of Canadian residency.

Don’t forget that even though you need to activate your tickets before entering a Theme Park, you can still make your party’s FastPass+ selections up to 30 days in advance (or 60 days if you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel).

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions or if my assumption about the type of tickets you purchased was incorrect. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
