We are traveling in our camper van which fits in a regular parking spot. Do we still have to park in the oversized lot?

Hey there, hi there, Sue! Welcome to planDisney. We love getting the chance to help Guests plan their next Disney vacation!

I am so excited to see that your visit to Disneyland Resort is just days away! When it comes to parking, it's hard to give you an answer when I can't be sure of the specifications on the size of your camper van. Since oversize parking is at the Toy Story Parking Area, I recommend heading there to park for the day. That way, the parking attendants can make the decision of whether you fall into the oversize category or not. Either way, you will be able to park there without issue. This is where I actually prefer to park. I love that in the mornings, there is security right there in the parking lot before you get on the short bus ride to the property. Then you can head straight to the Esplanade to one of the parks. If you try Mickey and Friends or Pixar Pals Parking Structure and they decide you are considered oversized, they could instruct you to head to Toy Story Parking Area. We don't want you to waste precious park time!

Before you arrive, make sure you have the Disneyland app downloaded and location services turned on. There is a really handy Car Locator feature in the app that allows you to log the location of your vehicle for easy reference when you end the day.

Sue, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a magical visit!
