    Traveling on a budget. First visit. Plan to focus time in Magic Kingdom (kids ages 8, 6, & 3). How convenient would it be to stay at one of the value DW properties further away and still go back to hotel mid-day for naps? Or, splurge on moderate ho

    HI Dana - for families on a budget, the value resorts are a great way to get the full Disney experience without breaking the bank.  In fact, many families with young kids actually prefer the themes of the value resorts to that of the moderates.

    You will have to take the bus back and forth to the parks, but that is also true of the moderate resorts.  You can definitely still take the bus back to your resort for a nap and some rest, and then head back out later in the afternoon.
