    Traveling with 2 boys (2 & 4) and going to MK & HS. Would AK, Epcot, or another day at MK be best for our boys the 3rd day? This is our 1st trip to WDW, but we have been Disneyland a lot, so I'm sure MK is very similar. Thanks!

    Hi Hollie!  I LOVE answering questions from fellow Golden Staters here at the Moms Panel!

    As someone who frequents both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, I will tell you that while there are many similarities between the 2 Magic Kingdoms you will be delighted to discover the many unique and magical differences... so many in fact that I would consider devoting a full day to this Magic Kingdom, as well as a full day to Hollywood Studios.

    Since you have limited time on this trip, I would definitely recommend taking the boys to Animal Kingdom on the 3rd day and possibly spending a few hours at Epcot that evening.  I have a 4 year old daughter who absolutely loves exploring Animal Kingdom. She is captivated by the wildlife each and every time we visit.  Animal Kingdom features several areas specifically tailored toward younger children.  

    Here are a few Animal Kingdom Must-Dos for younger children:

    • Kilimanjaro Safaris
    • Maharaja Jungle Trek
    • Finding Nemo The Musical
    • Festival of the Lion King
    • Camp Mickey and Minnie Greeting Trails
    • The Boneyard
    • Affection Section
    Both you and your children will enjoy dancing to the jungle beat and waving at your favorite characters decked out in their safari best as Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade makes its way through the park!

    I am so glad you have decided to visit Walt Disney World!  I have really enjoyed experiencing Disney Parks on both coasts and discovering the things I love best about both!  I know you will too! -Amanda
