Traveling w/3 boys ages 1,5,and 7. We only have 2 days in Disney...Which resorts are best for them? They love star wars, and all fun things. We're staying at animal kingdom resort!

    Hi Marilyn,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I believe that you are asking which theme parks are best for your children, since you have decided to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This, by the way, is a fabulous resort! I love to watch the animals from the balcony of a savanna view room early in the morning. Your boys will love seeing the animals out of nearly every window, and there are many recreation options to explore!

Since you mention that your children love Star Wars, you will definitely want to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios. It is the headquarters for all things Star Wars at Walt Disney World, including a fantastic nighttime show in Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, the opportunity to meet characters such as BB-8, Kylo Ren, and Chewbacca, and even the opportunity for young ones to train as a young Jedi at the Jedi Training Academy. Children must be between 4 and 12 years old to participate in the Jedi Training Academy, so your two older children could do this.

For your second park, I would recommend Magic Kingdom. This was the first Disney theme park in Florida, and has the iconic Cinderella Castle. It is the park that most guests most strongly associate with Walt Disney World, including attractions such as it's a small world and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Marilyn! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
