    I am traveling to boardwalk in December, what is the latest info on the Clown slide? When will it be back in service ( original date was October 30) & what replaced the clown? Stay safe Danny

    Hi there, Daniel! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for bringing us your question today! 

    How exciting that you will soon be visiting Disney’s BoardWalk Inn! It is such an amazing place and puts you right in the heart of it all with easy walkability to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As you mentioned, the Luna Park Pool and its amazing Keister Coaster, aka “Clown slide,” are under refurbishment. While the pool remains operational, Walt Disney World has notified that work is underway, and they expect the slide to be functional again by the end of 2020. However, I checked with a Cast Member to inquire about what type of slide may be found in its place, and they were not able to confirm or deny if the slide would look different when it returns. I guess it will be a surprise! Also, please know that the two leisure pools found at the BoardWalk Resort will also be operational during your visit!
