Traveling to Bahamas 11/27-12/1, we're interested in going to the Atlantis aquarium, if we book through Disney it's quite a bit more expensive than booking directly with Atlantis, does Disney price match?

Greetings, Toni-Ann! We are delighted that you’re here! Thank you for visiting planDisney with your question.

You’re sailing during my favorite time of year! I’m so excited for you to experience everything a Disney Cruise Line vacation offers. From incredible dining rooms, beautiful Bahamian ports of call, and family-friendly entertainment, there’s a flurry of activities for Guests of all ages on board. I have no doubt that you’ll come home with memories to last a lifetime.

Some of my favorite memories have been made while exploring new destinations. Disney Port Adventures are a convenient, hassle-free way to experience an exotic port of call. It’s also nice to leave the planning to someone else! Disney Cruise Line handles your transportation, admission fees, and more! Plus, each excursion is led by a knowledgeable guide. Unfortunately, there is no price match policy.

If you decide to book the Atlantis Aquarium independently, please keep track of the all-aboard time. Captain Mickey is on a tight schedule and cannot wait for late Guests. When I stopped in Tortola, I booked a dolphin encounter on my own. We were delayed interacting with the dolphins because they let those with cruise excursions go ahead of us. We spent a lot of time in the hot sun with our three-year-old, who didn’t understand why we were waiting. We wasted a lot of time in port, and I regretted not paying more for a Disney Port Adventure.

No matter how you choose to spend your day off the ship, be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Once you’re connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi, the app will list your dining rotation, entertainment happenings, and port information. The Disney Parks Blog recently shared some new delights for Very Merrytime Cruises that you might want to check out. I hope you have a fa-la-la good time with Captain Mickey and the gang!

    SEAS the adventure!
