We am traveling back to WDW for our third trip. Last time we stayed at a value resort and I found the double beds too small for two grown adults. Are there any resorts in the moderate catagory with two queens? What are your suggestions? Thank you

I agree that the double beds are very small. In fact, when we’ve traveled by ourselves, my husband and I have been known to each take a bed to ourselves. When our son was smaller, we would take turns sharing one of the double beds with him while one of us got a good night’s rest in the other bed.

My best suggestion for the moderate category resorts is to book a king bed room. These are approximately $15 more per night. Make sure to have your king bed request noted on your reservation. King bed rooms are not plentiful and are often wheelchair-accessible. Bed type is usually not guaranteed.

There are some king bed rooms at each moderate resort. We once enjoyed a king bed room at Port Orleans French Quarter with a river view. Best wishes!
