Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Marisa. I'm so glad you stopped by! A visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is always magical, but exceptionally so during the
holiday season. And you'll be traveling with
little ones in tow! I can't think of anything better.
When you make your
dining reservations, be sure to include your toddlers in the total party size. Even though they may not be eating, it's important the dining locations know how many Guests to expect for your reservation due to capacity limits. One of my favorite things about dining with little ones at the Walt Disney World Resort is that Guests under the age of 3 can usually eat for free! You will not be charged the price of a meal for the toddlers in your party if they share from adult plates. And if you're at a dining location that features a buffet or an all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner, they may have their own plate at no charge! You'll only be charged for the cost of food for Guests under the age of 3 if you actually order them something from the menu at the time of your reservation.
Should you book a reservation that requires pre-payment, like
Cinderella's Royal Table, you don't need to worry about being charged for the toddlers in your party as long as they are listed in your
Family & Friends list on My Disney Experience. If their birthdates are accurately listed there, the reservation system will know not to include them in the total amount due at booking.
As a mom of three, I appreciate the many services the Walt Disney World Resort offers to families traveling with little ones.
Baby Care Centers,
stroller rentals,
complimentary cribs, and
Rider Switch all make pixie-dusted adventures with babies a breeze!
I hope this was helpful, Marisa. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
