Hi there, Aleisha! We are so happy you found your way to planDisney. Fall at the Disneyland Resort is my favorite time of year! While we don't have dates quite yet of when
Halloween Time will kick off next year, you are arriving right around when Jack Skellington typically moves into the Haunted Mansion and the happy haunts come out to play. You'll definitely want to keep your eyes and ears peeled on the Disney Parks Blog to find out when those dates are released!
It sounds like you are a planner at heart, just like us! We love to see fellow Guests getting their Disneyland Ducks in a row early which usually makes for the most magic during your vacation! While you are able to book
Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages for 2023, you will need to wait until you are 120 days out from your park days to make those
theme park reservations. For you, this will be roughly May 15th depending on if you plan to hit the parks on your arrival day. If your vacation package or theme park tickets are linked to your account, the system will recognize them and allow you to book reservations as soon as those dates open up. You can either book them one day at a time or wait until your full window is open to book them all at once by heading to the website or the
Disneyland Mobile App. In the app, tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Make A Park Reservation" and away you go! Reservations are subject to availability, but can always be canceled and rescheduled. We recommend securing them early knowing you can make changes later!
While you prepare for your trip, you'll want to keep your eyes on the
@DISNEYLAND Instagram account in addition to the
Disney Parks Blog. This is where information usually drops first, including all the fun festivities for Halloween Time. While its return hasn't been announced yet, one of the highlights of the season is the
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party that takes place on select nights at Disney California Adventure Park. This is a ticketed event outside of regular theme park admission and is very popular and FUN. Included in the event are special treats, the Frightfully Fun Parade, trick-or-treating, very special photo opportunities with rarely-seen characters and villains, and lots of surprises! If you're interested in attending, I would recommend purchasing tickets the day they go on sale as they do sell out quickly. Even if the Oogie Boogie Bash isn't part of your visit, there are plenty of ghoulish delights throughout the Disneyland Resort to enjoy!
Aleisha, I hope this was helpful in your planning! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney!
Boo to you!
Tara
