Ahoy, Brian, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm thrilled you have an upcoming adventure on the Disney Magic! My 8- and 10-year-old boys embarked on their very first Disney Cruise last April on the Disney Magic and, let me tell you, it was beyond our wildest dreams. You're in for a real treat, and I'm not just talking about the never-ending soft serve ice cream on the pool deck. (But that too.)
Thank you so much for your great question. Disney Cruise Line
no longer requires testing or proof of COVID-19 vaccines to board their ships. The CDC recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated and encourages unvaccinated Guests to take a COVID-19 test two days before sailing to mitigate exposure. However, Guests will no longer need to provide proof of vaccine or testing results.
All that said, it will be your responsibility, Brian, to keep up with the proper requirements to enter each country you are visiting as policies can change. Health and Safety requirements can be found by visiting the
Disney Cruise Line website and vary based on your itinerary.
Some of my family's fondest memories are onboard a Disney Cruise and I have no doubt that will be true for you and your party. After that magical moment when you are welcomed aboard, Brian, make sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the entire list of daily activities, from Silent DJ Party to trivia, movie showings to nightly themes. Just add a little "heart" next to anything that catches your eye, and it will automatically be added to your own personal itinerary.
I hope that this information has been helpful to you, Brian, but more than that, I truly hope you and your party have the most magical voyage. If any other questions come up in your planning, please
stop by again! We're always happy to chat about Disney destinations!
Magic awaits,
McCayla
