Hello, We are traveling Aug 10-leaving Aug 18. We are enrolled in the Disney Dining Plan. Does the Aug 18 date ( our depature date also count as a day to use the plan ie table service, quick service etc? Or is it just valid Aug10-Aug17.

    Hi Jessica!

The Disney Dining Plan is like your magical meal ticket to an amazingly delicious journey throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Now, let me break it down for you in a way that's as enjoyable as a Dole Whip on a hot summer's day.

Think of the Disney Dining Plan as your passport to all things tasty. There are two different Dining Plans. First is the Disney Dining Plan. With this plan each person in your travel party age 3 and over will receive 1 Quick-Service Meal Per Night of Stay, 1 Table-Service Meal Per Night of Stay, 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Beverage Per Night of Stay, and 1 Resort-Refillable Mug. So, if you have booked a 3-night package for example, each member of your travel party will receive 3 Quick-Service Meals, 3 Table-Service Meals, and 3 Snacks.

There is also a Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. In this plan each person aged 3 and over will receive 2 Quick-Service Meals Per Night of Stay, 1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Beverage Per Night of Stay, and 1 Resort-Refillable Mug. With this plan, if you have booked a 3-night package, each member of your travel party will receive 6 Quick-Service Meals and 3 Snacks.

Now, to answer your question about your departure day – think of it as the finale to your dining extravaganza. While your departure date itself isn't included in your dining plan entitlements, fear not! You're not leaving the kingdom hungry. Your meal credits are based on the number of nights you're staying, so you can enjoy dining delights until the clock strikes midnight on your check-out day. So that means that if you happen to have any leftover credits on your departure day, you will be able to use those remaining credits up prior to departure. We always seem to have leftover Snack Credits so we like to take some Mickey-shaped treats home with us, to help ease the sadness of leaving.

Oh, and let's not forget about the resort refillable mugs – the unsung heroes of hydration! These magical mugs are included in your Dining Plan, allowing you to refill them with refreshing beverages at any Disney Resort hotel Quick-Service location throughout your stay. It's the perfect way to stay refreshed and hydrated as you embark on your magical adventures.

I hope you’re ready to feast like royalty!
