Hi! We are traveling around in our RV, but are wanting to experience the cabins at Fort Wilderness for a weekend. Would we be able to park our RV in the parking lot while we stay in our cabin? I don't believe our RV would fit in our cabin parking spot.

    Hi Suzanne!

Thanks for sending your question to the planDisney Panel! Great question! It has been always been dream of my family's to own an RV and park it in the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness! But we will take the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness in a heartbeat! To answer your question, you cannot fit an RV in the cabin parking spot. I drive a full-size SUV and when I have stayed in the Cabins I have found it to be a snug fit. Guests that drive RVs can park them in the entrance of the resort in designated parking areas. Then you can opt to rent a golf cart during your stay (or bring your own) and drive it to your cabin. Renting a golf cart is a must for my family as we can easily travel areas not accessible by vehicles. There is also an internal bus service which can bring you and your family close to the loop where the cabins are located. Hope this helps!

Quick Tip: Be sure to download the My Disney Experience App on your smart phone before your trip! Here you can see wait times for attractions and this is where you can place a mobile order for many of the fast food kiosks!

It has been a pleasure assisting you Suzanne. Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
