Traveling April 4-8th and want to stay in a hotel that has very easy access to Walt Disney Magic Kingdom is a nice hotel with lots of things to do for 3 kids ages 3-9. We want to avoid renting a car and wonder which hotel will have airport shuttle.

    Hello there, Ella!

Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you've stopped by with a phenomenal Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! It sounds like you're working to plan an enchanting springtime escape for your club of Mouseketeers. As a mom of a little one myself, I'd be happy to help you prepare for a magical and memorable family getaway!

Ella, several Disney Resort hotels come to mind that fit the criteria you've mentioned. Each of these Deluxe Resort hotels is situated right on Seven Seas Lagoon and on the Resort Monorail loop, connecting them directly to Magic Kingdom Park:
At the time of writing, I'm happy to share that all three locations have availability for the dates you mentioned! Each of these Resort hotels offers the ultimate convenience for accessing the theme parks. Simply hop aboard the Resort Monorail or a whimsical watercraft to hop over to Magic Kingdom Park or transfer to another monorail that takes you over to EPCOT! Additionally, third-party shuttle bus services or rideshare services are available to transport your family to and from Orlando International Airport, and no matter which Disney Resort hotel you choose, your family will have an abundance of recreational opportunities to enjoy!

Of these options, I'd personally recommend either Disney's Contemporary Resort or Disney's Polynesian Village Resort based on the incredibly child-friendly theming. My family recently enjoyed a fabulous stay in an Incredibles-themed room at Disney's Contemporary Resort and my son loved boarding the monorail - from inside the resort! My travel party also loved the convenience of walking to Magic Kingdom Park (~20 minutes from the resort to Main Street, U.S.A.) and utilizing a resort-exclusive security checkpoint. At Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, your kids are sure to love the Lava Pool, complete with a 142-foot water slide! The fun, tropical theming is sure to excite the entire family.

Ella, if you decide to check in to any of the fantastic Deluxe Resort hotels mentioned above, don't miss the Electrical Water Pageant that parades around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake each evening. Viewing this spectacular offering is always a special vacation must-do for my son, and being able to catch it from the comfort of our Resort hotel room is a true luxury! If you hope to do the same, consider booking a "Lake View" or "Theme Park View" room type.

I hope you've found this information helpful, Ella. I wish your family a whimsical and wondrous Walt Disney World Resort vacation! If there's anything else I can help with in terms of planning your special getaway, please feel free to reach out to me directly in the future. I'm here to help your cast of Characters make the most of their time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
