We are traveling in April 11, I've heard that there are perks staying at Disney Resorts. I am wanting to know if the lanyards and pass holders are one of these perks, or if I should go ahead and purchase the lanyards for my kids to hold their park passes?

    Hi Jessica,
Great question - you are right that there are lots of perks to staying at the Disney resorts.  Let me tell you about them - but first let me say that you can go ahead and buy a lanyards to hold passes as this is not one of the perks.

At this link, you can get great information on the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort.   In short:
    - You have access to all the complimentary Disney Transportation (monorail, buses, and boats). You will not need a car on-site
    - You can take advantage of the 'Extra Magic Hours' - on various days, different parks have either earlier or later hours for resort guests (check the Parks calendars to see the hours during your visit)
    - you can take advantage of the Disney dining plan

Best of all, our family finds the resorts fun and we love staying right in the heart of the magic!

Jessica, have a wonderful time with your family!
