I am traveling with always-hungry kids and hubby, can I bring food containers to carry food from the dining areas to our stateroom? Or do we need to bring our own snacks?

    Ahoy Fedayeen!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! So happy you brought us another question we can sink our teeth into, especially since it's about one of my favorite topics...FOOD! When it comes to abundance in dining options, Disney Cruise Line takes the cake! Ok, my bad pun aside, there will be bountiful buffets and endless menu items to tantalize your tastebuds.

Boy, do I understand where you are coming from! My husband and two teenagers have incredibly healthy appetites, so when we go on a Disney cruise, everyone goes all out. It's almost like the eating Olympics for my son, and he would totally win a gold medal!

Honestly, I wouldn't even take up precious luggage space to pack food storage containers for one main reason alone: the food is simply overflowing on Disney Cruise Line! Even in-between meals, there are quick service options at Flo’s Cafe for pizza, hamburgers, salads, and sandwiches on the pool deck. And certain itineraries, there are special events like a Pirate Night buffet fit for Captain Jack Sparrow and his ravenous crew!

Here’s the other solution to keep your family from becoming "hangry": room service! It’s included in your cruise and offered around the clock. Captain Mickey even has Mickey Ice Cream Bars available from room service even if they aren’t listed on the menu! Keep in mind that gratuities are not included, so be sure to tip the server delivering the goodies to your stateroom.

Even though I assure you there will be endless food, you may bring nonperishable food onboard (think pre-packaged snacks) but they must be in their sealed, original packaging and consumed before you leave the ship.

Find all of the delicious dining options onboard with the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. Be sure to download it before you set sail for access to dining room menus, deck plans, onboard activities, and more! If you need more tips, please "Be Our Guest" and send more questions our way. Enjoy every moment (and morsel) of your Disney cruise!

    SEA ya real soon!
