We will be traveling with our 2yo and almost 6mos old. We are bringing an umbrella stroller for our two year old and were planning on the car seat and snap and go for our 6 mos old. Is the car seat combo a good idea?

    Hi Darryn!

As a double stroller pushing Mommy, I think you should reconsider. There might be times, like when boarding a bus or train, where you will need to fold the strollers. I imagine what it would be like if you need to board the bus for instance. If the snap and go would be easy for you to fold, while carrying the car seat with your baby and two year old in tow, plus the umbrella stroller then it might work out just fine for you, and I'd like to nominate you for a medal! Perhaps the convenience of your 6 month old is weighing on your mind. I recall from my personal stroller use, that once an infant can sit up on their own, most strollers can provide the support and comfort an infant needs. Of course, you know your children best! I would love to suggest a double stroller, where you can place both your kids. There are companies such as Orlando Stroller Rentals that rent out strollers for the duration of your visit that make your trip more convenient. They've become a very common sight in the parks. Hope this helps!
