Chalese from UT Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We are traveling from the airport to HS on our first day and desperately want to get a boarding pass for R of the R. We have Will Call tickets and I'm not clear as to all of the steps we will need to go through to get into the park in time?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Chalese! I hEAR you're coming in from the Beehive State tomorrow! I'd be happy to help answer your questions about The Most Magical Place on Earth!

If you plan on using Disney's Magical Express Service from the Orlando International Airport, then I recommend checking your luggage with the Bell Services Team once you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Then, you can catch a complimentary theme park bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios from your resort (each bus stop has a monitor that conveniently displays bus arrival times for each Park). To pick up your Will Call tickets, simply head to any ticket window or Guest Relations (located to the far left of the turnstiles). Be sure to bring your Photo ID with you.

Once you're scanned into the Park, you can enter the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance via the My Disney Experience app. Open the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge section and go to "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – Access by Boarding Group." Make sure that everyone in your traveling party is on your Family & Friends list, so you can add them when you join a Boarding Group. If you need assistance while in the Park, see a member of the Guest Experience Team.

Depending on your arrival time, there is a chance that the Boarding Groups will already be distributed for the day. You can open the My Disney Experience app (even if you're not in the Park); when you click 'Find Out More,' you might see a message that says, "We've reached capacity for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance today and are not assigning new boarding groups at this time." If this happens, I suggest visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios on another day, if your schedule allows. Otherwise, I highly recommend checking out the rest of the land. No Boarding Group is necessary to experience Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The Milk Stand is also the perfect place for a refreshing concoction (I'm definitely on team blue milk)! You can read all about my recent experience on the Disney Parks Blog

I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the stars align and your plans work out perfectly, Chalese! May the Force be with you!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
