Traveling w/ 4 adults, 2 littles. Need a separate space for the kids to sleep (so they will actually sleep) while adults are watching TV, showering, etc. Within the 3 monorail resorts, what are my options to get either a suite or adjoining rooms? Cost?

    Hi Lori,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are planning an exciting family vacation!

The resorts with access to the monorail are my favorite resorts. Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are all beautiful resorts with accommodations that might work for your family. Disney's Contemporary Resort has a 1 Bedroom Suite that sleeps up to six and a 2 Bedroom Suite that sleeps up to eight. Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows include bungalows that sleep up to eight adults. At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, there are 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom suites that could accommodate your family.

You could request adjoining rooms, however, requests cannot be guaranteed. Cast members do their very best to accommodate those requests. On one visit, we were traveling with my aunt, her daughter (my cousin) and my cousin's daughter. Although we requested rooms next to each other, we were given rooms that were in the same building, not next to each other. We still had a great time!

Lori, we hesitate to quote prices here because they can change depending on the special offers that are available. You can always check resorts on the Walt Disney World website and get more accurate price when entering your exact dates, room type and the ages of the children.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
